These two films explore the life and work of artists Dorothy Dehner (1901 - 1994) and Joan Mitchell (1925 - 1992) and their negotiations within the male - dominated Abstract Expressionist movement. Work by both artists from the Tang Collection can currently be seen in the exhibition The Jewel Thief.
