Join us on Thursday, November 21, at 7:00 PM, for 8 Tables, a celebration of fall through crafting!
Organized by the Tang’s Student Advisory Council, there will be free food and eight different crafting stations, featuring embroidery/friendship bracelets, pumpkin painting, scarf knitting/pom-pom pumpkin decorating, fall wreath making, poetry writing, mason jar decorating, button making, and cookie decorating.
8 Tables is a collaboration with the Skidmore clubs Knit Witz and Random Acts of Crafts, as well as local non-profit Flutters of Hope, whose goal is to support, educate, and advocate for anyone who has been impacted by an eating disorder. 8 Tables participants will create weighted lap pads to be included in the “Butterflywish baskets” that Flutters of Hope gives to individuals who are in treatment at Albany Medical Hospital.
Come take a break from the stress of the semester and exercise your creative side through crafting!
