This event has been canceled.

Join us on Saturday, March 28, at 1:00 PM, for Family Saturday: Shattered Reality. We will look at work in the Tang collection by artists Paula Wilson and Francesca DiMattio, whose work combines a wide range of visual and conceptual elements like collage, painting, architecture, and history, that create a distinct perspective of their world. After discussing their work, we will create our own large-scale view of the modern world using an array of materials including CD’s, specialty papers, and masking tape!

Family Saturdays foster multigenerational creative cooperation through looking at artwork, discussing it, and engaging in a hands-on art activity. Most of the free programs run from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, unless otherwise specified, and are suitable for children ages 5 and older, accompanied by their adult companions.

All materials provided; be prepared to get messy and have fun. And dress accordingly! Reservations are required and may be made beginning one week in advance of each program. This event is limited to the first 25 participants who RSVP. For additional information and reservations, call the Tang’s Visitor Service Desk at 518-580-8080.

The Tang welcome visitors of all abilities. Be prepared to get messy and have fun! Share your Family Saturday photos on social media by including #tangfamsat.
