Join us on Thursday, October 15, at 7:00 PM, for this week’s Tang Live, a Skidmore student-run event on the Tang’s Instagram. Tang Public Programming Intern Peris Tushabe ’21 explores art and imagination in activism with three guests. First, she speaks with local artists and activists Daesha Devón Harris and Kim Harris about the intersections of the siblings’ art and activism, with particular attention to Kim’s recent mural commemorating the life of Darryl Mount. Next, she talks with Skidmore student Malchijah Hoskins ’22, member of the Skidmore Government Association, the Tang Student Advisory Council, and the social-justice collective Pass the Mic, about the role of imagination and creativity in activism and protest culture.
