Join us Thursday, July 21, at 6 pm, for a performance by indie folk pop band Bruiser and Bicycle on the lawn outside the Tang. A drop-in art-making table for kids will be available beginning at 5:30 pm.
Bruiser and Bicycle is an ever changing rock outfit from Albany, New York. Led by Nick Whittemore and Keegan Graziane, the group writes melodically rich songs inspired by the surreal and the macabre.

For its 21st season, the Upbeat on the Roof summer series highlights regional musical talent every Thursday, July 7 through August 18, at 6 pm.
Performances take place on the lawn outside the Tang and are free and open to the public. Visitors are invited to bring picnic blankets, camping chairs, and their own food and drink to make it a night!
New this year, the Tang offers an art-making station for kids at every concert! Children aged 5-12 are invited to arrive at 5:30 pm to get creative and make art with Tang Education Intern Paul Seggev ’23, the Carole Marchand ’57 Endowed Intern. For this week’s art-making project, kids can work with a booklet that includes intriguing prompts for how to draw by feel with eyes closed. All materials will be provided, and no registration is required.
