Join us Thursday, April 6, at 6 pm, for a screening of the Oscar-nominated documentary All the Beauty and the Bloodshed.

Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Laura Poitras, the film is an epic, emotional, and interconnected story about internationally renowned artist and activist Nan Goldin, whose work is in the Tang collection. The story is told through her slideshows, intimate interviews, ground-breaking photography, and rare footage of her personal fight to hold the Sackler family accountable for the opioid crisis.

Following the screening Casey Schofield, Skidmore Associate Professor of Psychology, and Rebecca McNamara, Tang Associate Curator, will lead a discussion of the film. This event is free and open to the public.
