2009 Senior Thesis Exhibition

A tradition continues as Skidmore’s annual studio art major Senior Thesis Exhibition is scheduled May 8 through 16 at the Tang Teaching Museum. An opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. May 8. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Skidmore College Art Department.

Forty-five senior studio art majors will be displaying their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore College. The department provides courses in numerous disciplines including ceramics, communication design, drawing and painting, electronic media, fiber arts, metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

Students whose work will be exhibited are: Jared Akerstrom, Katherine Bailey, Matthew Caldamone, Lea Chiara, Diana Chiriboga-Flor, Alexandra Citrin, Julia Cizeski, Jane Clausen, Thomas Conde, Kristina Costa, Shauna Feinberg, Molly Ferguson, Amy Flaherty, Curtis Fontaine, Courtney Franko, Eli Gold, Yovana Gruissem, Alexis Herzog, Samantha Holtgrewe, Mattan Ingram, Sarah Keyser, Lindsey Kocur, Jane Kownacki, Arielle Landsberg, Joli Latini, Margaret Liedtke, Miriam Mendelsohn, Claire Murphy, Caitlin Newman, Hilary Norod, Chukwuemeka Onyenwe, Ann Paxton, Katarra Peterson, Patrick Phelan, Ashlee Rubinstein, Hana Sackler, Peter Sheldon, Willy Steigman, Michel Steingisser, Martha Valentine, Samuel von Mayrhauser, Morgan Webster, Morgan Weisser, Elizabeth Wilson and Jing Xia.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Hours at the Tang are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Thursday until 9 p.m., and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

On May 16, commencement weekend, the exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
