Curator’s Tour of Paula Wilson: Toward the Sky’s Back Door

A light-skinned woman sits in a gallery space, surrounded by a multi-colored coral reef made of yarn; she smiles towards the camera.

Join Associate Curator Rebecca McNamara Thursday, October 5, at Noon, for a tour of Paula Wilson: Toward the Sky’s Back Door.

Following the tour, we invite visitors to enjoy the other Tang exhibitions on view, including Forms of Awakening: Selections from the Jack Shear Collection of Himalayan Art, Unset Texts, Elevator Music 47: Xenometok for Mutualism, and Yvette Molina: A Promise to the Leaves.

The background pattern is composed from the Tang dingbat, an abstracted diagram of the building. The four steps of the dingbat, like the four letters of Tang, symbolize thought, learning, and aspiration.
