together you’re home, now where are we?

Inside an elevator, a person hits a gong as another person with their face covered lays flat holding out a red envelope, with two other people seated on either side.

Join us Saturday, February 10, from 5 to 6:30 pm, for together you’re home, now where are we?, a drop-in interactive performance by artists Antonius-Tín Bui and Theresa-Xuan Bui in their exhibition Elevator Music 48: Alone, only in flesh.

The artists will give visitors poems in red envelopes, in the spirit of Lunar New Year, and ask them to write an offering in return, which they can leave on the altar outside the exhibition.

This performance takes place during the Tang’s 2024 Spring Opening Reception.
