Join us on Friday, May 31, at 3 pm, for a screening of work on 16mm by Lucille Rhodes ’64, organized by the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative (MDOCS).
Rhodes has enjoyed a distinguished career in documentary film. After viewing a cross-section of her documentary work, from a film about painter Alice Neel (from a series on American women artists, now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art) to shorts she produced in Appalachia for Sesame Street, we will open up a wider conversation about Lucille’s path through the documentary film world and its many changes over the past 60 years. This event is held in coordination with the 10th anniversary of Skidmore’s own John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative (MDOCS).
Note: This screening has moved from its originally scheduled location of Davis Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
