The performance has been moved indoors due to inclement weather.

Join us Thursday, August 15, at 6 pm, for a performance by Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band, a six-piece Americana ensemble, on the lawn outside the Tang.

Cutting his teeth as the house manager at the historic Saratoga Springs listening room Caffe Lena, Reese Fulmer (Skidmore class of 2018) has emerged “with a poet’s sensibility rich with great storytelling, imagery and a healthy dose of irony.” The 2023 and 2024 Americana Artist of the Year at the Thomas Edison Music Awards, Reese and his band are among the fastest-rising groups in the Capital Region. With a rotating cast of top players and a broad and dynamic body of work, their live performances are always fresh and full of joy.

For its 23rd season, the Upbeat on the Roof summer series highlights regional musical talent every Thursday, July 11 through August 15, at 6 pm.

Performances take place on the lawn outside the Tang and are free and open to the public. Visitors are invited to bring picnic blankets, camping chairs, and their own food and drink to make it a night!

Crafts on the Grass

Tang Art Educators offer craft kits for kids at every concert, starting at 5:30! A different craft will be available each week. This week’s craft is Bouncing Bunnies! Participants are invited to create a bunny from a sock, rice, and ribbon. All projects are suitable for children aged 5 and up, with adult supervision recommended. Materials will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
