Skidmore students are invited to join us Thursday, April 10, at 8 pm, for Queer Open Mic Night in the exhibition a field of bloom and hum, which focuses on queer lives and networks. Lively Lucy’s, Pride Alliance, Zine Club, and the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion have come together to host a night of queer musical and spoken storytelling.
The event kicks off at 8 pm with a reception celebrating the work of the Zine Club with free food in the museum’s atrium. An open mic follows in the Malloy Wing at 8:30 pm. Signups to perform at the open mic will be available beginning at 8 pm.
This event is free and open to all Skidmore students.
