Join us Juneteenth, Friday, June 19, at Noon, for a tour of Designing Power: The Black Panther Party, led by Samantha Majiedt ’27, 2026-27 Eleanor Linder Winter ’43 Endowed Intern at the Tang.

Following the tour, we invite visitors to enjoy the other Tang exhibitions on view, including All These Growing Things, Elevator Music 54: Hanna Tuulikki—spinning-in-stereo, Family Forms, Kathy Butterly: Assume Yes, and Sheila Pepe: When & Where We Rest.

The background pattern is composed from the Tang dingbat, an abstracted diagram of the building. The four steps of the dingbat, like the four letters of Tang, symbolize thought, learning, and aspiration.
