A tradition continues with Skidmore College’s annual Senior Thesis Exhibition on May 14–22 at the Tang Teaching Museum. Organized by the Department of Art.

Forty-seven senior studio art majors are displaying their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore.

Student awards, announced at the May 14 opening reception, were as follows: the John P. Heins Outstanding Senior Thesis Exhibition Award went to David Rollins; the Dorothy Dryfoos Olsan ‘41 Prize in Jewelry and Metalsmithing went to Edwin Meek; the Marguerita Mergentime Award in textiles went to Mariel Harari; the Barbara Greene Wild Award in Ceramics went to Natalie Petrillo-Alvarez '11; the Pamela Weidenman '72 Memorial Prize in Printmaking went to Paul Hisaya Ishhii; and the Jesse Solomon Memorial Award in Painting went to Mairin (Molly) Bray-Hayes. (Except where noted, all winners are members of the Class of 2010.)

After deliberation, studio art faculty chose to recognize the following students as receiving Senior Thesis Exhibition Honors: Sara Hulan, Paul Hisaya Ishii, Kimberly Keate, Linnea Kniaz, and David Rollins.
