Join us for Opera Saratoga’s free community performance of Saratoga Sings of Art and Inspiration at 5:30 pm Thursday, April 23, at the Tang Teaching Museum.
The concert features vocal music inspired by great artists and works of art. Laurie Rogers, Opera Saratoga’s director of music staff, has included music by such composers as Granados, Poulenc, Wolf, Britten, Heggie, Weill and more. Featured singers include soprano Christine Suits, tenor Dominick Corbacio, and bass baritone Jesús Murillo.
The Tang Teaching Museum is the first of three visual arts organizations where Opera Saratoga will be performing Saratoga Sings of Art and Inspiration. The other two concerts will be Wednesday, April 29, at 5:30 pm at Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC), 7 Lapham Place, Glens Falls, and Thursday, April 30, at 6:00 pm at the Albany Institute of History and Art, 125 Washington Avenue, Albany.
