Dystopian Book Sale

Design by Tang Museum Store and Publications Manager Sean Fuller

The novel 1984 and other books will be available at the Tang Museum Store’s Dystopian Book Sale, which runs from March 28 through April 4.

This store sale is in conjunction with the Tang’s April 4 screening of 1984. The Tang and over 90 arthouse theaters and cultural organizations across the country will participate in a collective screening of Michael Radford’s adaptation of George Orwell’s classic dystopian novel 1984. Following our screening, a panel of Skidmore faculty will discuss the novel, the film, and what resistance can look like in our current political climate. Find out more about the event here.
