A tradition continues as Skidmore’s annual studio art majors’ Senior Thesis Exhibition is scheduled May 12– 20 at the Tang Teaching Museum. An opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 pm Friday, May 12. The Department of Art is sponsoring the exhibition.
Thirty-five senior studio art majors will be displaying their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore College. The Department provides courses in numerous studio art disciplines including ceramics, communication design, drawing and painting, digital media, fiber arts, metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
Students whose work will be exhibited are as follows: Theodore Badenhausen, Paris Baillie, Natalie Behnke, August Bomer-Lawson, Cameron Campbell, Willa Cassidy-Gardner, Hai Chen, Bernard Clapp, Benjamin Cohen, Colleen Craven, Jennifer Davies, Savan DeSouza, Rosa Desmond, Sarah Donovan, Samuel Friedman, Molly Fulton, Isabel Goldstein, Adriana Gomez, Sanjana Gothi, Catherine Headrick, Catherine Heller, Caroline Herman, Jonathan Hernandez, Jonah Jablons, Tenley Masson, Katherine Melland, Abigail Parsons, Tara Patrina, Tyler Phillips, Madison Plummer, Jamie Scherzer, Julia Slaff, Maya Tors, Madeleine Welsch, and Zhiyu Zhou
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
