Great Mutations, making its UpBeat debut on Thursday, August 3, 7 pm, is a rock band featuring Mitchell Masterson, Ian White, and Matthew Thouin. The band’s crisp sound generates from the blending of rhythmic guitar, drums, and winsome lyrics. The trio has arranged and recorded two albums and released their most recent, Many Battles, last summer.

For its 17th season, the UpBeat on the Roof summer series now takes place every Thursday, July 13 through August 24 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Performances are free and open to the public. The rooftop is accessible via the museum elevator or outdoor staircases. In the case of inclement weather the series is held inside the museum.
