Art Loan Program for Skidmore Students
Have you ever wanted to live with art you saw in a museum? Roommate: Living with Tang Art returns this Fall. The program gives Skidmore students the opportunity to borrow artwork from the Tang collection to hang in their dorm or apartment.
Every year, fifty works from the Tang Museum collection are available for students to borrow on a first come, first served basis. At the beginning of the fall semester, students are encouraged to attend a viewing party featuring all fifty works. Soon after, students line up for our Pickup Day event; the first fifty students in line have the opportunity to bring those works home for the academic year.
In the spring of 2022, eight works of art, which were returned by students studying abroad, will be available via lottery for students to take home for the semester. For more information on the lottery, visit the ROOM•MATE: Living with Tang Art Spring 2022 Lottery event.
