This exhibition presents fierce pussy’s Transmission IV, written by the imagined future descendants in The free state of Transplendency to the beings of earth. It is paired with one of their posters, which visitors are encouraged to take and disseminate to provoke conversation about the current state of LGBTQ rights.
fierce pussy is a collective of queer women artists who formed in New York City in 1991 with a focus on AIDS activism and who continue to advocate for LGBTQ rights, progressive voting, and other issues through public art.
