Hyde Cabinet #29: Pretty Classic presents a photograph from Jess Dugan’s portfolio To Survive on This Shore: Photographs and Interviews with Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Older Adults.

In an accompanying interview, the person depicted, Jay, speaks to the discrimination he and his partner faced during an extremely distressing period of their lives.
