Preview the 100 artworks available for students to borrow as part of the Tang’s student art loan program, ROOM•MATE: Living with Tang Art. Launched by the Tang Student Advisory Council, a volunteer group of students, in 2020, ROOM•MATE invites Skidmore students to borrow artwork from the museum’s collection to hang in their dorm room or apartment. The exhibition and program feature works by a wide variety of artists, primarily from the 20th and 21st centuries, including Salvador Dalí, Nan Goldin, Corita Kent, Pablo Picasso, Malick Sidibé, Henri Matisse, Romare Bearden, and many others.
On Thursday, September 17, at 6 pm, a viewing party and info session will be open to the public. And on the morning of Sunday, September 19, students with Skidmore IDs will have the opportunity to bring those works home for the academic year.
