Shahzia Sikander, the Pakistani-born artist, has reinvented the tradition of miniature painting in a contemporary context to explore and propose a flexible and multi-layered understanding of identity. Nemesis examined Sikander’s two new animations as well as a series of fifty-one new drawings.
