Hair Stories will begin with a documentary by Yvette Smalls. After the screening there will be an open discussion, allowing participants to share their personal hair stories. Guest speakers will be filmmaker Yvette Smalls and Jerry Philogene, lecturer in American studies at Skidmore College.
